One of the cheapest ways to get to the park is by public Songthaew from outside the 7-11, However public Songthaew's are not allowed to enter the park beyond the Checkpoint, but once at the checkpoint, Park Rangers will flag down private cars, and ask them to provide lifts to the Vistors Centre, this is normal practise.
You can hire/charter a Songthaew, although pricier, it is less time comsuming, as they can enter beyond the Checkpoint into the park itself, private hire Songthaew has the advantage of being able to travel to the various places of interest throughout the park, a full day hire can cost between 1,200 baht - 2,000 baht.
Coming back from the park is much easier, as many private car owners offer day-trippers lifts back to the Checkpoints, or even back to Pak Chong, Public Songthaew's wait at the Checkpoint area, to pick up passengers back toPak Chong
