Phuket is a great destination for a golf holiday, and is attracting an increasing number of golfers. There are six courses to choose from, all are off International standard, and set amongst the most  beautiful almost idyllic surroundings

In general it must be said, that  course fee’s are  higher in Phuket, than many other locations around Thailand, but also much lower than many other countries, if you take into account the year round mild climate, access to beautiful beaches and the relaxed atmosphere that is part of Thai Culture, plus not forgetting the entertainment and standard of nightlife that is available when away from the golf course, Phuket offers value for your golfing hoilday.

There is not much importance placed on handicap cards, with the dress code relaxed and comfortable, most of the courses  like to see players wearing golf attire, but will welcome the wearing of shorts, golf shoes are prefared but players can wear other sports wear type shoes.

All courses on the island, as well as Thai Muang Golf Club in Phang Nga, provide an extensive range of practice facilities, such as driving ranges, putting greens, practice bunkers as well a high standard of instruction. Other facilities include clubhouses, bars, restaurants and accommodation. It can be uncomfortable playing golf in Phuket’s tropical climate, so sessions in the early morning or late afternoon are recommended. Make sure you put on some sunblock and drink plenty of fluids
