Pattaya Nightlife
Many things have been written about this amazing city, one thing for sure Pattaya life is about the Nightlife, there is no other city in the world quite like Pattaya, any guide to Pattaya has to include the nightlife, and if you go to Pattaya you can’t miss it. The worn out cliché is "Pattaya Sin City by The Sea" but that really does sum it up.
Pattaya is a sprawling mass of beer bars and AGo-Go bar’s, for adult fun this town is party central. A lot of people say that there is a different atmosphere in the scene here compared to Bangkok. This may be due to the fact that Pattaya has a lot more of the holiday feel about it, there is a more relaxed, even a party atmosphere, everywhere you walk around the city.
Pattaya does not seem to have any defined areas or red light districts as such, head for Pattaya central, and you will find yourself in the thick of things, the central main area is that of Walking Street, and the surrounding Soi,s of Pattaya land, and the Soi,s 1-8 off the main beach road.
Walking Street
Walking Street is a carnival of Bars, Ago-go’s and nightlife that can’t be beat. The street itself is clean and traffic is not allowed between 7 pm to midnight and sometimes till 2 am so you can safely walk and enjoy it.
Along this strip of road and all the alleys and sub streets that branch off of this notorious street there is more decadent fun to be had than any other place in Asia, much less the world.
Walking Street is exactly what it sounds like. A stretch of road that is restricted to foot traffic only, there are nightclubs, beer bars, discos, restaurants, little curiosity shops of all sorts… Just everything you could imagine. Think of it like a permanent Mardi Gras one can party and carry on every day of the year.
It would be impossible for anyone to step into every club along this road in one night. Many have tried but failed!!! You will always find yourself distracted by some hot, ready, and willing Thai beauty, and in not time your quest is over
Walking street is not at all seedy, everybody is enjoying the atmosphere, the girls are always fun and approachable
PattayaLand and Soi 13 to 7
Take a walk up the main beach road, from walking street each and every Soi, ading in-land, you will find Bars, Ago-go’s and Restaurants
2nd Road
Head onto 2nd Road, and follow the road north toward Nukula, along its length you will find bar Complex’s, housing anything up to 20 separate bars in each, here you can find any form of entertainment you may be looking for, a good landmark to find your way to the main night Bars is the “Big C” Shopping Centre.
Jomtien
Jomtien is just south of Pattaya City, its much smaller and quieter, and has a very popular beach, but come 4pm every evening, Jomtien nite scene springs into life, as the many Bars open for business, there are bars situated all along the beach road running parallel to the shore line, Jomtien is more relaxed and certainly not as loud as central Pattaya, but you can still find everything you may be looking for in Soi Whitehouse, Soi 3 & 5 or slightly further south Soi Welcome.
Pattaya really is full on Fun!!!!!! Everywhere you go..
