Where to go in Bangkok
Bangkok, or as its know to locals Krung Thep, is a fascinating city, with legendary nightlife, there is something for everyone, Beer bars, Ago Ago bars and Nightclubs all with a vast amount of approachable slim and stunning ladies, after all Bangkok is called “ The City of Angels”
There are three main nightlife area’s (often described as Redlight Districts) these are:-

Patpong
- Soi Cowboy
- Nana Plaza
To the first time visitor to Bangkok, these names mean nothing, but all are within the city centre and all are on the BTS Sky train and Subway routes, for the newcomer try looking for accommodation in the area’s of Silom, Sukhumvit Road, as a basic guide, you will not be far from the action.
PATPONG :
Get there Via :- BTS; Sala Daeng Sky Train. Or Silom Subway
Many refer to Patpong as the best know and most notorious nightlife area. Most first time visitors head for the back to back neon lites of the Ago Ago bars, Beer Bars, and Restaurants, all shouting in their bright coloured glare, “ Let us entertain You”, but be warned of the higher Tourist prices in some venues, whether you intend buying a beer, eating a meal or organising the company of a young lady for the night, prices can be inflated, best advise on offer is check first.
Patpong consists of two parallel Roads (Soi) that connect, the main roads of Silom Road and Suriwong Road, Patpong Soi 1 and Patpong Soi 2, Soi 1 now includes a bustling Night Market, resulting in larger numbers of tourists.
Patpong is where you will find live Sex Shows, and various shows with names such as Pussy Writing,and Pussy Ping-Pong, amongst many others, The area also attracts a large number of Katoeys ( Ka-toy-es) LadyBoys who mix with the girls ( information to remember when wearing your Beer Goggles)
SOI COWBOY
Get there Via :- BTS: Asoke Sky Train. Or Sukhumvit Subway.
Soi Cowboy has a more relaxed atmosphere, but still offers its fair share of erotic entertainment, it’s a small Soi connecting Soi 21 and Soi 23, which both run from the Sukhumvit Road.
Soi Cowboy is where the Bangkok faithful head for, it provides the same level of attractions, without the hassle, the rip-offs and aggravation, most of the venues are operated by happy go lucky people. Walking through Soi Cowboy is an interesting experience, each bar has its own group of stunning ladies, who will try to entice you into the premises, but in happy and polite manner.
Worth a mention is Soi 33 on Sukhumit Road, here you well find polite well dressed girls, who have a good knowledge of English, the Bars are relaxed and laid back, the theme more that of hostess then Bar girl, all bars keep Menu’s from the local restaurants, the girls are only too pleased to go and order your food for you, wait for its preparation, and bring it back to your table. Soi 33 is a great place to start your wild night out.
NANA PLAZA
Get there Via :- BST Nana Sky Train
Nana Plaza is within easy walking distance from Soi Cowboy, it’s a three story building of bars, erotic attractions, and shows, although these days total nudity and live sex shows have been discouraged, they can still be found if this is your type of entertainment , there are still hundreds of girls.
Nana Plaza is a very popular area, it can be a little more expensive than Patpong, but on average on par with Soi Cowboy, some of the girls who work in this area will believe they are worth more than the average rate, as they believe Nan Plaza more upmarket, so expect to be pay a higher level of Bar fine.

- Ratchadaphisek Road : has many interesting entertainment venues, such as Discotheques, clubs and bars
